Melbourne Spring Walk | Swanston Street to Kings Domain
Today, Melbourne was under a cloudy sky, but the weather was pleasant, just right for a spring walk through the city.

Starting on Swanston Street, I made my way towards the river and the gardens beyond, enjoying the chance to slow down and notice what was blooming along the way.
With fresh spring air, sunlight shining through the clouds and trees taking on that vibrant green, spring vibes were well and truly here!
Spring Colour at Melbourne Town Hall
Passing Melbourne Town Hall, I enjoyed the beautiful floral display. I always find myself wondering how often they change these displays. Whenever I walk past, there seems to be something different to enjoy. Today, it was simply lovely to take a moment and appreciate the flowers before continuing down Swanston Street.

Across Princes Bridge
Walking towards Princes Bridge, the city began to open up around the river. There’s something I enjoy about this part of the route, moving from the busy streets towards the green spaces just across the Yarra.

The First Roses of the Season
I continued over the bridge and made my way to Queen Victoria Gardens, ready to see what spring had brought.
The very first roses of the season were already blooming! 🌹 It’s amazing that you can pause and enjoy a quiet, fragrant rose garden so close to the city centre.

A Gentle Finish Through Kings Domain
I ended my walk with a gentle stroll through Kings Domain. It was the perfect spot to slow down, listen to the gentle rustle of leaves and enjoy the sound of birds singing. 🐦🌾
